Growing up in my family’s travel agency wasn’t just a childhood experience – it was the beginning of a lifelong passion. I watched in fascination as they crafted perfect getaways for their clients, all while ensuring our own family made time for unforgettable adventures together. Those early years taught me something precious: experiences create memories that last far longer than any material possession.

Today, as a mom of three and the creator of Oh Joy Journeys, I’m passing on that same love for exploration to my own children. We’re proof that you don’t need to cross oceans to have amazing adventures – though we sometimes do! From our home base in Central Texas, we embark on multiple trips throughout the year, discovering hidden gems in our magnificent state and beyond. We use credit card points and miles to maximize our travels!
